From the biggest of brewers to the smallest of start-ups: brewmaster Florian Kuplent's career has spanned the spectrum of brewing operations. A Weihenstephan graduate, Florian was the Anheuser-Busch staff brewmaster charged with managing the corporate yeast cellar, before leaving with David Wolfe to form the Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. in St. Louis, Missouri, where brewing began in January 2011.
