We head to Russia for our latest brewer interview - with a man who has seen it all at SABMiller - Sergey Pavlov. From July/August 2011 edition.
Sergey Pavlov has been with SABMiller Russia almost from the start of the brewer's arrival in Russia in the late 1990's with its purchase of a derelict brewery in Kaluga, southwest of Moscow. Pavlov started as a brewing technologist at Kaluga; today he is group brewmaster, overseeing operations at three Russian breweries and Sarmat in the Ukraine.
