PDX names new brew biz head
Heinz-Juergen Kroner joins in October
Process innovation up and comer Pursuit Dynamics (PDX) is bringing on board a well-known industry leader to push forward its business.
Heinz-Juergen Kroner joins PDX in October as general manager of the brewing and food line of business. Kroner, 46, is well known in the brewing industry, most recently in his role as chief executive officer of GEA Brewery Systems. He will report directly to PDX CEO Roel Pieper and sit on the company’s management board as a senior vice president.
“This appointment is a major coup for PDX and I am delighted to be announcing Juergen,” said Pieper. “Juergen brings with him unique experience of commercialising brewing and food technologies from his time at GEA and he is the best candidate that we could have found.”
Kroner responded, “I am very excited to be joining PDX, a company that has enormous commercial potential. The PDX technology is extremely impressive and I am looking forward to working with the team to commercialise this huge opportunity within the global food and drinks industries.”
PDX continues to hint at a breakthrough for its Atomiser and Reactor technologies, best known in the form of an energy-saving wort heating system. The company says that it is in discussion at least three of the top six global brewers plus several national brewers in Europe and the United States.
* Pursuit Dynamics, headquartered in Huntingdon, United Kingdom, has also announced that the PDX Wort Heater has been approved to operate within Germany’s Reinheitsgebot certification.
