Convention profile: It is apparent that Africa has "Endless Possibilities" and the thirst is not just for the product but also knowledge, skills and expertise. Therefore the opportunities are available not only for brewers and distillers but also suppliers and academia. This convention will apprise the brewing and distilling community of the possibilities and discuss ways that they may be realised. It will also review some of the challenges facing this realisation and therefore lively debates are anticipated on such topics as health, learning and development, raw materials, logistics, politics and a revisit of the main theme of the 2009 convention, sustainable development. A large number of presentations will be given by invited speakers, knowledgeable in their specific fields thereby including subject matter beyond the brewing and distilling industries.
